Bring your dog to stay in the Yarra Valley when you come to see “The Archies” at TarraWarra Museum of Art (The Archibald Prize 2019) between 14 September to 5 November and we’ll tailor a private wine tour for you and your dog that includes your tickets to view The Archies PLUS your dog’s own pen & watercolour portrait!
We’ll collect you and your pooch from your Yarra Valley accommodation at our usual tour time of 10am and drive you to Denise Smith’s Studio for 10.15am – there you will all be introduced to wildlife artist Denise who will take some snaps of your pup, get a feel for his/her personality and then we leave her to work her magic.
We drive you up to TWMA, right to the door, and while you enjoy the exhibition we take your pooch for a walk nearby. We then collect you, take you to lunch at a pet-friendly café/winery, enjoy an afternoon’s wine tasting at dog-friendly cellar doors with your pooch by your side.
At the end of the afternoon, we return to Denise’s studio, ready for ‘the reveal’ (like Ahn Do!!) and then drop you back to your accommodation with your wonderful pen & watercolour portrait of your pet, ready to frame if you so desire.
