Indulge in the Yarra Valley’s finest flavours on a gourmet food and wine adventure with your pooch. Treat your inner foodie to a day designed to delight your taste buds. We’ll take you on a guided journey with food, perfectly paired with each wine — from pastries, charcuterie, a 2-course winery lunch, followed by a gin tasting, plus cuvee chocolate — check the itinerary tab for details! We drive you home too, so you get to truly relax and savour every moment of your Yarra Valley food and wine extravaganza.
10am - Pastries Paired With Wines
We’ll start the day at Rob Dolan or Coldstream Hills (depending on where we collect you from) with a wine tasting paired with a selection of mouthwatering miniature pastries and tarts. Sip a Blanc de Blanc with your buttery croissant, see how Chardonnay pairs with a lemon tart, or a Pinot Noir with a cherry Danish, and Shiraz with pain au chocolat.11.30am - Wines Matched With Charcuterie
Experience a tasting flight of Sutherland Estate Wines, paired superbly with locally sourced charcuterie and small goods - think Wagyu carpaccio, salmon parfait, maybe some porcini truffle arancini - ingredients are sourced locally, so the offerings will change with the weather, and what's fresh and best.1.00pm - À la càrte Lunch With a Guided tasting
Next, we’ll head over to Steels Gate Wines for a wine tasting with a 2-course à la càrte lunch on their Pinot deck. It's beautifully enclosed with sweeping views for you to drink in, as you enjoy your leisurely lunch and all the while you'll have your pupster by your side. There's something special about knowing you’ve paired your food with the perfect glass of wine.
3.15pm -A Palate-Cleansing Gin With Cheese Board
Time for a cleansing gin paddle to trick things up! For gin lovers, let us take you to Stag Lane, high on the ridge between Healesville & Yarra Glen for a tasting paddle of their gins infused with their own home-grown botanicals. Or if we're driving you home to Melbourne, we can stop in at the decadent Naught Gin in Eltham for a trio of amuse-bouche gin cocktails! Now you're talking!!
4.15pm - Cuvée Chocolates Pair So Well With Wine!
And for our final tasting of the tour - we’ll head to Tokar Estate where you’ll be guided through their estate wines paired with the most sumptuous delicate wafer thin chocolates that melt in your mouth. It’s an epic way to finish your decadent day of indulgence!
